This transparent, braided tubing has a 1/2" inside diameter, a .114" wall thickness, and is suitable for conveying liquids, air, and powdered foods. It is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion, and it has a smooth bore for resistance to collection or blockage. It has nylon mesh braids for reinforcement and a Shore A Hardness rating of 80 for resistance to tear or puncture. It has an operating temperature range of -50 to +175 degrees F and a maximum working pressure of 215 pounds per square inch (psi). This braided tubing is made from non-toxic ingredients and meets United States Pharmocopeia (USP) Class VI standards for biocompatibility.
